This certification implies that the artist’s work has reached 600,000 US units, with each unit representing one paid download or 150 streams. Such an exceptional accomplishment is worth commemorating!
The hit song “Chantaje” has proven to be a major success, topping the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and reaching the 51st spot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. The music video for the song has also amassed over 800 million views. The RIAA’s Latin program, established back in 2001, is designed to acknowledge the sales of Latin music – specifically those with more than 50% of their content in Spanish.
